Perfect day exploring our local shipwrecks!

What a fantastic day out for Meike & Siggi from Germany and Quintin (originally from South Africa) from Midland and myself as the guide. Not a cloud in the sky and with light westerly winds we ventured out on board the very comfortable (only 4 of us!) Run Time, skippered by Rick Lymer. We spent 45 minutes on the Marquette with her wood stock anchors, the most intact of our local wooden schooners before heading over to the Massive Steel Freighter, the Mapledawn (her propeller shown here). This is a great excursion on two completely different types of cargo ships once operating through Georgian Bay. It was a real pleasure showing these guys what lies beneath the waves right here in our back yard.
